6. Cole Fuchs - In Class reading (4/3/2023)

In Chapter 2 What is Natural I found it interesting that so many people are trying to get the same aesthetics from nature for themselves but complete different at the same time.  In the paintings and art shown in the chapter it shows nature being a marvelous and beautiful place, but it doesn't show every aspect of nature and how it can be beautiful.  it only shows the landscape.  it doesn't show the different animals and plants that live in those environments which I would also argue are beautiful and majestic just like the landscape is.  I would also argue that there are parts of nature that isn't so beautiful but that is completely up to determination due to everyone having different standards of what is beautiful.  When looking at the aesthetic in this chapter the environment and its landscape is a beauty that man can and has conquered and enjoyed for hundreds of years instead of being scared of it and straying away from its beauty.
