Sam Ziemba: Assigned Class Reading 4: Colorado Trail Plant-a-go Project

Reading about Kelly Moody's Plant-a-go project and hearing from her in class was so interesting! That was a great way to spend her time during all the craziness of Covid. With all the uncertainty around that time, it's so cool that the Earth was able to offer some serenity and purpose. I think the plant-a-go project was super interesting because we always hear about "leave no trace", but I think this is an example of leaving a good trace. It is human activity that had decreased the abundance of native plant species in the first place, so she and her partner were giving nature a helping hand to help undo man's actions. I think their project was so cool to help restore plant conditions close to the way they once were.  I also loved looking at her pictures and all the plants they documented on the trail!
